David brings significant leadership, commercial and board-level experience to The Running Charity. He spent over 15 years at Google UK, where he led the News and Publishing team and worked with major publishers to support digital transformation, partnership development and revenue growth.

Alongside his senior roles in media, advertising technology and commercial operations, David has experience as a charity trustee and as a member of the Journalism Advisory Board for Oxford Brookes University. He brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, communications, governance and commercial insight to the organisation.
