About The Running Charity
The Running Charity delivers transformational running and fitness programmes to young people who are affected by homelessness. Founded as a charity in 2014, The Running Charity operates full programmes in London and Manchester, with volunteer hubs in Nottingham and Newcastle. The Charity has requests for its services in other cities and one of its key aims is to support local runners to make a difference to their community.
Our work is powerful and engaging: we have been a lead human-interest story at The London Marathon every year since our formation; in 2018 we were crowned ‘best small charity’ at The Running Awards; we have attracted support from a major international sports brand; and have even managed to get His Royal Highness Prince Harry running through the streets of London with our young people.
The Running Charity team has managed to grow its delivery reach and funding by over 100% year on year. If you feel you can provide us with the connections, skills, passion and commitment to help take this organisation to the next level, then we would love for you to get in touch.
