Mission & Impact
Mission
Our mission is to nurture young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and help them reach their full potential. We do it through our running and personal development programmes and by creating a supportive community.
Homelessness can happen at any time and to anyone
When homelessness happens to a young person, it can affect them for the rest of their life, and they are almost twice as likely to die as their non-homeless peers. At least 122,000 young people in the UK are homeless right now, and it’s a problem that goes hand-in-hand with many complex issues.

Diverse young people on a journey towards self-reliance
We meet many kinds of young people through our programmes, and all of them are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. While they come to us as vulnerable individuals with multiple and complex needs, we see their potential and work hard to support and empower them.
Impact
We believe in young people, and it is our role to listen and respond collaboratively, rather than work towards a preconceived idea of what is best for them. With our person-centred approach, we work with young people on a bespoke level to maximise the goals they want to achieve. We can do this because 75% of the team in London are former participants of our work, and 78% of the overall team has direct lived experience of the issues the young people face. With dedicated teams delivering support in our London, Manchester and Leeds hubs, our impact is significant and growing daily.
